High Crest Lake In The News
Category:UncategorizedYou may have seen an article in the West Milford Messenger recently entitled High Crest Lake gets WM Council support to remedy problems. The article attempts to report on the approval of two resolutions by the West Milford Township Council that give their endorsement of two separate NJ State loan applications that have been submitted by HCL. The loan applications are for funds to support the proposed Dam Refurbishment and Desilting projects. As is typical of the West Milford Messenger, the article includes several material inaccuracies.
The facts and status of both of these projects will be discussed at the April General Membership Meeting to be held at The Lodge on Thursday, April 28. Additional topics of discussion will be:
- The proposed budget for the new fiscal year
- Refinancing The Mortgage on The Lodge
- The 10 Year Master Plan
There have been some questions recently about what membership approvals will be needed for specific Master Plan projects. These questions are answered in the HCL MPC 2022 Master Plan Proposal document that was distributed prior to the November 2021 General Membership Meeting.
